Wednesday, 27 August 2008 | Placing both iPhone / iPod docks in an alarm clock is a straightforward and clever idea that's so far only revealed up in the JVC-PN7 (which we have and love), but it seems like iLuv's getting in the play as well with the new iMM137.
Apart from the double shielded iPhone 3G-compatible slots up top, it's the usual iLuv kit with 5 watt jAura sound, an aux input, and dual alarms
It’s selling for $129 and would be out in the market at September.

| Monday, 25 August 2008 | We were naturally delighted to see another "clone" manufacturer bounced up, peddling OS X "compatibility" with nothing of the actual pre-installed-ness that completed Psystar notable, so it's with a serious heart that we bid adieu to Open Tech.
The organization has put itself up for sale, including its substantial "trade secrets," and can be yours for the very low-price of 50 grand.

| Intel Determines to Increase WiMAX | | | |
Tuesday, 19 August 2008 | WiMAX is the latest network in town and Intel wants to increase its frequency range. According to Garth Collier, general manager of WiMax working for Intel Asia-Pacific, the organization is gearing up to "start accepting other markets other then of the US at 2.5GHz and in other spectrum profiles."
At present day, the Centrino 2 chip package supports a edition of the technology that uses the 2.5GHz spectrum.
I’m hoping that they could deliver fantastic wireless network across the town.

| Lenovo IdeaPad S9 and S10 Debut | | | |
Monday, 18 August 2008 | We’ve been waiting all too long for this little device to turn up at stores. Long after coming to grips with the reality that Lenovo was indeed manufacturing an IdeaPad S9 and S10, the netbook(s) have come about in the FCC's lair.
Interestingly, the User Guide looks to undertake both machines in one fell pounce, suggesting that there's not enough dissimilarity to warrant the writing of two entire pamphlets that no one will understand.
But it’s small.. and tiny…

| Bad Reception for iPhone 3G? | | | |
Friday, 15 August 2008 | There have been compromising reports regarding iPhone 3G reception. And these complaints includes signal strength, call dropping, connecting to EDGE when 3G is active and the huge list goes on.
Some suggested that a firmware update pushed out to existing iPhones is unlikely to ease the pain in the ass. The intermittent issues have been recorded the in various parts of the world, so this doesn't seem to be linked to AT&T's (or anyone else's) infrastructure
It’s rather depressing knowing that this cool gadget has its flaws despite vigorous quality control from Apple. Shame on you Apple!

It’s not really corn, but a corn-based bioplastic, which has some setbacks of its own but is becoming more and more generally used these days.

| Friday, 08 August 2008 | We still believe that Sylvania is selling a netbook, but after putting much of all weirdness aside, the unit deserves the same hands-on evaluation to most all of its biggest competitors.
Reports have stated that the 8.9-inch Sylvania G Netbook Meso features a matte display, an expectedly small and cramped keyboard and a smooth-as-butter touch pad. Anyone interested in this sleek device? It’s a netbook though – whatever difference it might have…

On the other hand it does, however, carry over the E8's so-called ModeShift changing keypad and features an FM radio that uses RDS, 3.5mm headphone jack, and Windows Media compatibility.
