If you have been dying to shop for a good e-reader, perhaps you should seriously consider opting for Spring Design's Alex. Based on my observation, the Spring Design's Alex is actually a dual-screen e-reader, whereby the top screen will provide you with the necessary platform to read your ebooks, while the bottom screen is actually a color screen to display images.
Generally, the top screen measures 6-inch while the color screen below measures 3.5 inch. Of course, the Spring Design's Alex is available for sale in March 2010, with a price tag of $359. And if you are itching for the iPad, it’s just $499 – so you got to decide on whether to save the $100 or not.
