Verizon Q4 2009 Loss
Wednesday, 27 January 2010
Bad news everyone, it seems that Verizon made a whopping $653 million in losses for Q4 2009. Generally, the company made a whopping $27.1 billion dollars in revenue for that particular quarter, and it is rather surprising that the company could still make such a substantial loss. On the other hand, Verizon has a total of 91.2 million customers, and as many as 2.2 million new customers subscribed to Verizon on Q4 last year.

According to CEO Ivan Seidenberg, he mentioned that the company spent a considerable amount of cash to deploy 4G network across the country. On the other hand, Verizon also subsidized various phones as well, which explains why the company performed poorly last year.
