Acer is surely picking up their steam in upgrading their laptops, whereby they have unleashed several new models into the market. First up is the 15.6 inch AS5742G and 17.3-inch AS7745 series, and these laptops feature a new graphics engine, namely the GeForce 400M GPUs. Also, the laptop also comes with the Optimus technology, whereby the laptop will automatically switch between its integrated graphics and the NVIDIA graphics cards for power saving benefits.
On the other hand, the Aspire AS5745DG is a Core-i5 powered laptop, and it comes with GeForce GT 420M too. Also, this is the first machine to run on NVIDIA’s 3D Vision technology. And as for the 18.4-inch Aspire AS8943G, this laptop runs on the Core-i7 processor, there’re 8GB RAM, and runs on ATI's newest Mobility Radeon 5850 graphics.
