 AMD has always been top of the line when it comes to the fastest processors out in the market. But lately their processor performance has been sluggish when compared to Intel’s technology.
AMD’s new 2.6GHz quad-core Phenom X4 9950 Black Edition is touted to be 5% faster than Intel’s – which is practically a joke. It also lacks when it comes to performance versus watt being consumed.
Being retailed at $235: Any takers? I’m sure overclockers find this as a hidden gem as they could easily tweak its performance up a couple of notches.
