AMD’s solution to Intel’s Atom processor is their Ultra Value Client. This little chip is aimed at capturing Intel’s processor domination in the ‘value’ market namely the netbooks.
Well, it’s not selling that cheap yet, with the lowest line of the netbooks selling for $499.
The downside: Battery life is not as long as Intel’s Atom.
