I learn 3DMax during my college days and boy, the software is really good! All the while I was looking for Free 3DMax tutorials and I found one on OkTutorials.com. You get various tutorials on how to get started using 3DMax. For example, you get guides on how to create various objects using the software such as drawing a playground slide, picket fence, basketball basket, gear wheels, fantasy sword and many more.
I love drawing ancient swords, so I took a peek at their online tutorial on how to draw one. The guide gives you step by step instructions on how to get your fantasy sword into shape and there are over 30 steps involved. I can say that the end product is simply amazing! Also, I took another peek at Fuse Bomb tutorials – there are over 20 steps to complete the diagram. The tutorials are pretty simple to follow but you’ll need basic 3DMax software skills to make it work.
For those who are new to the software, you might need to spend sometime to master the entire techniques to get it right. When I initially started using 3DMax, I spent 2 days to master the basics. To spearhead you from novice to intermediate 3DMax user, you’ll need to spend sometime reading and testing out tutorials found on OkTutorials.com. There are even Flash and Photoshop tutorials available on the site. It’s easy to follow and everything is explained using plain language.
However, I understand that this is a site which offers free online tutorials – but the Adsense ads sometimes gets in the way while I am reading the tutorials. I believe that the existing tutorials would be much visible should the Adsense boxes be reduced in size.
Nevertheless, for those who run a tutorial site, you can submit a link to their link directory. Just fill in the details of your link and click on submit – it would be added into the directory.
Conclusion: This is a great site for newbies to gain additional knowledge on how to further master their 3DMax skills.
