Freescale has recently unveiled their netbook and smartbook design concepts recently and personally, I don’t see any differences in these computers as it is pretty similar with the current netbooks and MIDs.
Of course, I do have to give Freescale a pat on the back as they are pretty initiative in trying to roll out new concepts for the market. It’s just that I think that they are a little too late in taking these supposingly ‘pre-emptive’ measures.
Would Freescale uproot Intel’s domination in the netbook processing arena? Based on my observation – the answer is an astounding ‘No’.
