My Postgraduate Years PDF Print E-mail
Tuesday, 30 October 2007
Looking back at my postgraduate years, I think that it reflects everything that I am now. My last article made me look back at what I did in my past and my most recent achievement was my MBA. And oh, I'm not that old - I'm just in my mid 20s. A friend of mine told me that education is just a waste of time and a cert of graduation won't guarantee you a job - or at least a secure job from the company.

I agreed but then again, it's education that helps shape who you are today. This prompts me to think again - this time looking back at Donal Trump's Apprentice show where he put a team of street wise people who are particularly successful at what they do and without proper education and another team of educated people who are equally successful.

Initially the street wise team were leading beating bookworms badly but then again, they hit a snag. I think that with the desire to succeed, you are half way through in getting where you want to be in your live - but if you incorporate this with an educated mind, the potential is simply mind boggling.

What do you think?
