Pros and Cons - Working From Home |
Tuesday, 23 October 2007 |
Is it a pro or is it a con? It's very hard to decide but for me, the most important factor is your happiness level. If I'm happy, I put that as an ultimate pros.
I've been working from home for more than half a year now and I'm enjoying every moment of it. Previously I used to travel 40-60 minutes everyday to work - dangerously on my bike. I met an accident and that was the most demoralising moment of my life. Half-way limping and with one of my hands twisted on the wrist, I didn't have a medical certificate (MC), I went back to work the next day.
I couldn't get a MC from the doctor, so the day I met the accident, I wasn't even compensated anything from the company or the insurance. Imagine that.
I promised myself that this would not happen and I would venture out into the business world doing things that I like. I'm happier and that's what matters most.
Cheers!
