Senate Denies Navy Missile-destroy PDF Print E-mail

Let’s face it – the US government has tremendous amount of secrets, and most of these secrets have yet to be disclosed to the public, particularly secrets concerning their military technology. Well, we all know that the government is secretly developing Star Wars technology, which involves the usage of lasers that can be used to disable rogue missiles, but as you should have guessed it – the senate has just recently denied rumors of a navy missile-destroying laser funding.

Surely, there has been significant amount of proof that the military is indeed has the intention of developing such a weapon. However, according to the defense authorization bill from the Senate Armed Services Committee, it seems that the respective project was simply too expensive to be carried out, and researchers have yet to discover the best method to power the weapon from a ship. But if the project did continue, it is projected that the project might be completed sometime in 2020.
