Sites that Didn't Get Penalized by Google |

I noticed some sites out there which has lots of paid posts which didn't get penalized by Google. I wonder what techniques did they use to escape Google's deathblade? One thing for sure - disclosures such as paid posts and sponsored do contribute highly to your demotion in PR.
I'm sure that these sites did use the word sponsored or paid post - but they just escaped the deathblade. Maybe this is the holy grail that I'm looking for. Let me do more research online.
