It seems that Sony wants to bring their laptops to the next level, with their disclosure of something called the Sony VAIO Z Quad SSD technology. Of course, this particular SSD technology will involve the VAIO Z to function with SSD RAID0:64GB/128GB x 4. On the other hand, the specifics for the quad SSD is still blurry, as Sony and the associated rumors did not disclose the types of storage that will be used on their VAIO Z.
However, Sony did disclose that this particular technology will allow you to transfer 1GB of file in just 4 seconds, when compared to 25 seconds on a 5400 RPM drive.
That’s pretty amazing, don’t you think so?
