LCD displays aren’t dead – just yet. In fact, Toshiba has just recently release their latest LCD TV, called the Cell Regza LCD. Basically, this particular LCD TV is very slim indeed, and it can offer consumers 1,000 nits of brightness, 240Hz refresh rates, and also 9,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratios.
On the other hand, the LCD TV comes with a 2D-to-3D conversion technology, whereby this particular technology will translate your existing 2D images, to 3D. Also, you’ll find a barrage full of connectivity available on the LCD TV, whereby there’re DLNA, 8 HDDs, Blu-ray recorder, and etc.
The 55X2 will be available in late October for $11,430, while the slimmer sibling will be available earlier in October for the following retail price: ¥700,000 ($8,000) for the 55-inch and ¥600,000 ($6,858) for the 46-inch.
